The Archbishop of Canterbury as the Metropolitan of the Church of Ceylon, has appointed Rev. Dushantha Lakshman Rodrigo as the 16th Bishop of Colombo. The Episcopal ordination and installation of Rev. Dushantha Lakshman Rodrigo as the 16th Bishop of the Diocese of Colombo, Church of Ceylon, will take place on Wednesday the 28th of October 2020, at 3.00pm at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour, Colombo.
To ensure the health and safety of everyone, we deeply regret that we are not able to welcome you in person at the service as we would have loved to.
The Health Authorities have given very strict guidelines under which the Episcopal Ordination Service will be conducted, and all those who will be invited to play a role in the service are the only people who will be permitted entry to the premises, and we do not encourage anyone else to call over at the Cathedral Premises on the 28th of October to join the service.
